The team are all experienced in managing and supervising complex ground investigations across the UK. We are able to design a ground investigation to meet the clients needs and the site constraints. The typical methods of investigation are as follows: 

 

• Machine excavated trial pits 

• Soakaway/Infiltration testing to BRE 365 

• Hand excavated trial pits and foundation exposures 

• Light Cable Percussive Drilling (including sampling and CPT/SPT testing)

• Dynamic Window sampling

• Rotary Drilling – Open hole drilling and coring

The methods above are commonly employed during site investigations, but this is not exhaustive. We also employ more specialised techniques when conditions suit such as Cone Penetrometer rigs and Sonic Drilling.
